WSU CAREER
RS FRESHMAN (2008-09): Competed in three events during his debut campaign with the Cougars...finished tied for seventh in his second collegiate event...fired a two-round total of 152 (+8) at the Washington National Fall Classic...also competed in the Sycuan Invitational and the Pat Hicks Thunderbird Invitational...posted a season-low even-par 72 in his first-collegiate round at the Sycuan Invite.
FRESHMAN (2007-08): Redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned four varsity letters for head coach Clarence Hough...was a co-captain in 2007 for the Saxons...played on the PGA Junior Series as a FRESHMAN...finished in third place at Colorado Springs...helped lead team to a second place finish at State and was a GSL honorable mention selection...as a SOPHOMORE won the Manito Junior Club Championship for the third consecutive year...finished ninth at the Idaho Junior Golf State tournament...was named All-GSL Second Team and once again helped lead Ferris to a runner-up finish at State...as a JUNIOR earned second-team All-GSL honors and was named the WJGA Joan Teets Most Inspirational...as a SENIOR finished second at districts...finished second at state as an individual, leading Ferris to another second-place team finish...named first-teamAll-GSL...fired a career-low 65 at the Rosauers Invitational.

Ryan Patrick Jones...born in Spokane, Wash...father Craig and mother Cathy...brother Devin is a freshman at WSU this year...is a fourth generation Cougar as his great grandfather Kennard Jones, grandparents Barry and Carole Jones, parents, aunt and uncle Scott and Vicki Jones and great uncle Denny Jones all attended WSU...his grandfather Barry ran track for the Cougars...enjoys watching sports, playing video games and running...majoring in sports management.
