PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University and the University of Wyoming will play a home-and-home football series beginning in 2015, it was announced by both schools Thursday.

The first meeting of the two-game series is scheduled for Sept. 12, 2015 at Martin Stadium with the setting shifting to Laramie for the Sept. 1, 2018 return game.

"The Wyoming series falls in line with my goal to add quality nonconference opponents for our football program," said WSU Director of Athletics Bill Moos. "With future series that include Wisconsin and Boise State, in addition to games against Auburn and BYU, this series will complement our future nonconference schedules."

The Cougars hold a 3-2 series advantage over the Cowboys, with all games coming during the span from 1962 -1990. The last meeting resulted in a 34-13 win by the Cowboys in 1990 at Martin Stadium. The Cougars own a 2-0 mark when playing in Laramie while they are 1-2 in Pullman.
