PULLMAN, Wash. - As Cougar Athletics embarks on the 2012 football season, fans entering Martin Stadium for Saturday's game vs. Eastern Washington will notice enhancements to the Cougar Football Saturday experience.

The most obvious change fans will notice is the renovation to Martin Stadium with The Cougar Football Project.

In addition to what was implemented last year, including Welcome signs displaying information to make the fans' experience throughout Martin Stadium more enjoyable and WSU Athletics Cougs Guys & Gals serving as hosts to welcome and invite all patrons to Martin Stadium, football fans will have more entertainment options with Cougville, which will take place prior to every Cougar football home game and at halftime.

Cougville is free and open to the public, and will feature a live DJ and an event host. Cougville will also feature inflatable games and a beanbag toss. Fans can purchase food and drinks at the event. Additionally, fans who are 21 and older can purchase beer and wine.

Located at Rogers Field, next to Martin Stadium, Cougville will take place three hours prior to kickoff at every WSU home game. Cougville will close at kickoff and re-open at halftime for food and beverage sales.

For the third straight season, Cougar Athletics invites fans to participate in the Cougar Prowl. Two hours and 30 minutes before kickoff, the WSU football players and coaches arrive on campus and, joined by the WSU marching band, spirit squad, and Butch, touch the statute before heading to the locker room to prepare for the game.

In order to alleviate traffic on state highway 195, fans driving to the game are encouraged to take the Cougar Corridor alternate route utilizing state route 271 and highway 27 through the towns of Rosalia, Oakesdale, Garfield and Palouse. WSU Athletics encourages fans to stop at these towns for a visit on their way to and from Pullman and Martin Stadium.

For fans tailgating on campus, Johnson Hall and the Johnson Hall restrooms will be closed for all home football games this season. However, restrooms will be available on the ground level of Hulbert Hall. The Hulbert Hall door and restroom facility will be opened from approximately 8 a.m. until approximately 30 minutes postgame for this Saturday's game, and from 8 a.m. until kickoff for all subsequent games .
