►Are you excited to play in the new Martin Stadium?
My teammates and I can't wait to play in the new Martin Stadium! It really feels like a big time stadium with the addition of the new press box and suites and I know it's going to be the loudest stadium in the Pac-12 because the whole Cougar Nation will be there every home game. If you thought Martin Stadium was difficult to play in before, THINK AGAIN!!
►Why come to WSU?
Well besides the fact that we have the most pride in the nation, WSU has a unique location that allows its students to get the full college experience. Attending this university makes you a part of something real. Once a Coug, always a Coug.
►Tell us about Coach Leach and his staff.
Coach Leach is a great coach and has put together an incredible coaching staff. He has worked us harder than we have ever had since I've been here. Everyone will witness the result of our hard work on Aug. 30! Coach Breske, our new defensive coordinator and my position coach, has put together a defense that will cause a lot of big hits and create plenty of turnovers. So get ready Cougar fans!
►What are the guys saying about this season?
Everyone is very excited about the season. We put in a lot of hard work and dedication into this off-season and we're ready to punish our opponents. As far as team goals, we are focusing on taking it one game at a time and defeating that opponent.
►What's something WSU fans don't know about you?
Something WSU fans don't know about me is that I love to sleep! I really do cherish my sleep and hate when it's interrupted, I'mdefinitely not a morning person. Another thing is that I love movies, preferably horror movies or comedies.
►What's your favorite place to eat in Pullman?
My favorite place to eat in Pullman would be Red Bento. It used to be New Garden but I love Red Bento's teriyaki beef and chicken.
►What's your routine to get pumped up for a game?
I love listening to music before a game to add to my hype. Depending on my mood I may listen to rap, R&B, or even slow jams for motivation. Slow jams also help calm my nerves. The night before every game I listen to my favorite songs and visualize myself playing the game and making plays, this is what really gets me ready to play.
►Who's your favorite football player/athlete/idol/role model?
My favorite football player would be Ray Lewis. I love the passion and intensity he plays with. I try to model my game after his. He is also a great leader and motivator. My favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant. I admire his work ethic and competitive nature.
►What would you be doing if you weren't playing football?
If I wasn't playing football I would probably be trying to find somewhere where I could play football.
►What's your favorite uniform combination?
Favorite uniform combination without a doubt would be the all gray uni's. But I also like the combo's we wore last season for the Cal game and the Oregon State game.
