Wilson Named to CBSSports.com Preseason All-America First Team
July 30, 2012 PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University junior wide receiver Marquess Wilson has been named to CBSSports.com Preseason All-America first team, the website announced Monday. Wilson, already named to preseason watch lists for the Maxwell Award and Biletnikoff Award, enters the 2012 season coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons. In 2011 the Tulare, Calif. native set WSU single-season records with 82 receptions and 1,388 receiving yards and tied for second-most in a season with 12 touchdown receptions. Wilson led the Pac-12 in receiving yards per game at 115.7 and earned Yahoo! Sports All-America second team and Sports Illustrated All-America honorable mention honors. The Cougars open their 2012 schedule Aug. 30 at BYU in a game televised nationally on ESPN. Gametime is set for 7:15 p.m. PT.
