Full Bio

Are you excited to play in the new Martin Stadium?
VERY excited! The new stadium is looking sick! When the home-opener arrives I know it's going to be packed and louder than ever. The fans were very loud last year but this year will be another story.

 Why come to WSU?
The question is why not? I wouldn't rather be anywhere else. The campus and college town speak for itself. I think everyone should experience Pullman, at least for a week. Since I moved up here, I've never been homesick. I call Pullman home. It's just amazing.

Tell us about Coach Leach and his staff.
Coach Leach and the new staff are smart, cool, funny people. They all are chill and funny but when it comes to football they mean business, especially (running backs) coach Jim Mastro. Coach Mastro taught us a lot of stuff and likes it perfect. He's a great coach and won't stand for anything but perfection.

What are the guys saying about this season?
Everybody is excited about this year. We all know this is our year to make a statement not only in the PAC but in the nation. We've worked harder than we ever had. We work out early in the mornings and later go out to throw during 7-on-7 multiple times a week as a team. If everyone could see how hard we've been working they'd know what we're preparing for. The men working on the new press box can see some of work we've been doing but they only see about a fifth of what we do and I'm sure they're impressed. My goals for this team are to make and win a bowl game (Rose Bowl), win the Pac-12, and earn national attention and respect. My personal goals this year are to get 1,000 rushing yards and have 200 receiving yards or have the highest yards per carry in the Pac-12.

What's something WSU fans don't know about you?
I say and do some of the weirdest things that make people laugh. I don't have any examples, they just happen.

What's your favorite place to eat in Pullman?
Tams! I love Tam's place.

What's your routine to get pumped up for a game?
I always listen to music, something that'll keep me calm until we get to the stadium and then I play something that gets me hyped up and ready once we get towards the locker room. Once in the locker room, I always try to envision the fans and what I'm going to do. I also sit and think about all the people who said I would never make it and doubted me and think of what a blessing it is to be where I am. Cheer or boo, I'm ready to sacrifice everything for my teammates and those who support me.

Who's your favorite football player/athlete/idol/role model?
My favorite football player is LaDainian Tomlinson but my biggest role model would be my dad because he taught me pretty much everything I know. I strive to be like him one day or maybe surpass his success.

What would you be doing if you weren't playing football?
If I were not playing football I have no idea where I'd be. I'd probably just be a regular college student at Howard University because my mom works there and my oldest brother goes to Law school there.

What was/is your favorite uniform combination?
My favorite uniform is the gray pants with the crimson tops because we play the best in those but the gray uniforms are just dope especially if we're able to get black cleats this year!
