Paul Wulff and Cougar Football to Visit the Puget Sound Region

PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University football fans at the west side of the state will have two opportunities to meet second year head coach Paul Wulff and his staff at Sterling Savings Bank "A Night With Cougar Football" events, a season preview celebration dinner and auction.

The event programs include a preview of the 2009 campaign, as well as an exclusive inside perspective of the 2009 Cougar recruiting class, just after NLI signing day, Feb. 4.

The first event will be Thursday, Feb. 5, at the Sa-Heh-Wa-Mish room of the Little Creek Casino and Resort, which is just minutes north of Olympia on Highway 101. (Note: The Sa-Heh-Wa-Mish room is a change from the original location of the casino's Event Center). Social hour and a silent auction begin at 5:30 p.m., with the dinner starting at 6:30 p.m.

Individual tickets are $50 for WSU Athletic Foundation members and $60 for non-Athletic Foundation members. Please RSVP by Jan. 30 as space is limited and walk-up accommodations are based on availability. For more information, contact Diana Bidle at the Athletic Foundation at 1-877-IMA-COUG.

The football caravan moves north the following evening (Friday, Feb. 6) to the "W" Hotel (1112 4th Avenue, Seattle). Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour and silent auction; dinner is at 7 p.m.

Cost to attend is $100 for Athletic Foundation members and $125 for non-Athletic Foundation members. Please RSVP by Feb. 2 as space is limited and walk-up accommodations are based on availability. For more information, please call Todd Thrasher at WSU West (206-448-1330).

Individuals who are not an Athletic Foundation member can become a member when making their reservations ($100 minimum annual contribution to support the WSU Athletic Scholarship Fund).

In addition to Wulff and his staff, Director of Athletics Jim Sterk will also be on hand at both events to provide updates on Cougar Athletics and the ongoing renovation of Martin Stadium.

 

 

Attendees at both events will have the opportunity to bid on Cougar auction items. All net proceeds go to support WSU student-athlete scholarships through the WSU Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund.
