-- Junior running back Jerome Harrison scored his sixth and seventh touchdowns of the season against UCLA, both in the first quarter...all seven have come in the last seven games...Harrison, a native of Kalamazoo, Mich., transferred to Washington State from Pasadena City College prior to the 2004 season...Harrison's second touchdown run came from 45 yards out, the longest run of his Cougar career.

  • Harrison's 133-yard output in the first half eclipsed his previous career high, 117 yards Oct. 16 against Stanford.
  • Harrison's 42 carries marked a career high and a Washington State school record.
  • Harrison's 247 rushing yards marks the third-best total in school history.

    -- Washington State rushed for 182 yards in the first half, which stands alone as its second-best rushing total for an entire game this season...the Cougars racked up 286 yards on the ground against Idaho.

  • The Cougars surpassed 200 rushing yards against a Pac-10 foe for the first time since accumulating 220 at the Rose Bowl against UCLA in 2002.

    -- Sophomore wide receiver Jason Hill hauled in his 10th touchdown reception of the year in the second quarter against UCLA...the San Francisco, Calif., native is tied for fourth on WSU's single season list for touchdown receptions with Hugh Campbell (1960) and Mike Bush (2001).

    --Washington State's 13 play, 90-yard drive in the second quarter was its longest in terms of yardage this season...the Cougars pieced together a 14-play touchdown drive against New Mexico in the season opener.

    -- Senior strong safety Jeremy Bohannon intercepted his second pass of the season in the first quarter, the third of his career.

    -- Sophomore tight end Jesse Taylor recovered a fumble on the game's opening kickoff...Taylor's father, Greg, played for UCLA and was a member of the Bruins' 1976 Rose Bowl team.

     

     

    -- True freshman wide receiver Michael Bumpus had five catches Saturday, marking the fourth-straight game he has hauled in five or more passes.

    -- Washington State has recorded four-straight victories over UCLA (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004), the Cougars' longest winning streak against the Bruins in series history.
