· Named to the All-Pac-10 Academic first team
· Played in 10 games, missing only the Idaho contest
· Started one game, Utah
· Credited with 14 tackles, including at least one in each of his last eight games
· Best outing came against California when he made four tackles…against Boise State, had two tackles, both for losses…only sack was against BSU
· Found out after the season had played with a broken bone in his left leg that required surgery and the placement of a small metal rod in his leg.
RS-SOPHOMORE (2001-02): V-letter…Games - 12…Starts - 1…earned the following weekly team awards: OSU/Defensive Lineman; Stanford/Defensive Lineman.
· All-Pac-10 Academic first team…CoSIDA/Verizon All-District VIII academic first team
· Rotated into the defensive line regularly and had 21 tackles, including a career high seven against UCLA
· Best games included four tackles against Oregon State, when he also had a sack and forced one fumble…also made four tackles, including two TFL and one sack, against Purdue in the Sun Bowl…recovered a fumble at Stanford when he also shared a sack
