STRIPLING'S WSU CAREER
RS-SENIOR (2009):
Earned a varsity letter after playing in 10 games for the Cougars...recorded the team's fifth-most number of tackles with 54 (37 solo)...also registered four tackles for loss...broke up one pass and hurried the quarterback twice...recovered one fumble against Hawaii...had career-high 13 tackles against Notre Dame...also made nine tackles against SMU and eight against Oregon.
RS-JUNIOR (2008): Appeared in WSU's games against Oklahoma State and Baylor...missed the remainer of the season with a shoulder injury...recorded a career-high eight tackles in WSU's season-opener against Oklahoma State...also registered two tackles-for-loss against the Cowboys...had 10 tackles on the season (four solo).
RS-SOPHOMORE (2007): Received the team's weekly Defensive Scout Team Award in the week of practice leading up to the USC game....rendered himself academically ineligible and did not participate in a game.
SOPHOMORE (2006): Redshirt season.
FRESHMAN (2005): Earned a varsity letter after appearing in 10 of the Cougars' 11 games...missed only the Arizona State...made three tackles against Grambling while seeing extensive action...backed up Steve Dildine at the will linebacker position...one of nine true freshman to see varsity action...member of WSU's kickoff return and kickoff special teams units.

STRIPLING'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Coached by Mike Owens at Robert E. Lee High School...named District 12-5A defensive most valuable player as a SENIOR...helped lead the Red Raiders to a 12-3 record and the Texas Class 5-A Division I State title, defeating Spring Westfield 28-21 in the final played at the Alamodome...picked off a pass in the state title game, returning it 69 yards for a touchdown...also reached the end zone on an interception return in the state semifinal against Euless Trinity.
