ROWLANDS' WSU CAREER
RS-JUNIOR (2007): Earned a varsity letter after starting each of WSU's 12 games at right guard...received the team's weekly Offensive Line Award following performances against San Diego State, Arizona and California... member of an offensive line that helped team finish second in the conference and 28th in the country in total offense (435.25 yards per game)...helped WSU passing attack lead the conference and finish eighth in the nation at 319.58 passing yards per game...WSU finished third in the conference in sacks allowed (1.83 per game).
RS-SOPHOMORE (2006): Earned a varsity letter after appearing in each of the Cougars' 12 games...made nine starts...started the first three games at right guard for the injured Andy Roof, who returned for the Stanford game...came off the bench at Stanford, then started against USC and Oregon State at left guard following injuries to Bobby Byrd and Josh Duin...replaced Roof as the starter at UCLA and held the role for the final four games of the season...earned the team's weekly Cougar Claw Offense Award following performance against Baylor...also received the team's weekly Offensive Line Award following performance against USC.
RS-FRESHMAN (2005): Earned a varsity letter after appearing in 10 of the Cougars' 11 games...served as the backup right guard to starter Norvell Holmes...member of PAT and FG special teams units.
FRESHMAN (2004): Redshirt season.
ROWLANDS' HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Coached by John Barnes...was the top offensive lineman for a perennial powerhouse at the Division I level in California's Southern Section...as a SENIOR (2003-04) helped lead the Griffins to a 12-2 record...Los Alamitos was ranked No. 5 in USA Today's preseason rankings...rated the No. 59 offensive line prospect nationally by TheInsiders.com...also participated in track and field for the Griffins.
