As a JUNIOR, named first-team All-State, first-team All-Southern Section and first-team All-Mission League after making 45 tackles, five interceptions (one returned 77 yards for a TD) and 15 pass breakups...also caught 16 passes for 334 yards and three touchdowns...helped JSHS to a 14-1 overall record and a Mission League title, Southern Section Western Division title and a berth into the California State Division II Bowl...as a SENIOR, limited to seven games due to injury but still garnered All-Region honors by Prepstar.com after making 34 tackles, one interception, eight pass breakups and 14 catches for 203 yards...helped JSHS to an 8-3 record and another Mission League title...rated four stars but 247Sports.com...rated three stats by Prepstar.com, Rivals.com and Scout.com...rated the No. 13 cornerback in the country by 247Sports.com...rated No. 35 cornerback in the country by ESPNU and No. 38 cornerback in the country by Scout.com.
