WSU CAREER RS-FRESHMAN (2012):Earned a varsity letter after appearing in 11 games...posted eight tackles, five solo...recorded one tackle-for-loss and forced one fumble...recorded one pass breakup...appeared mainly on special teams...made one tackle in win at UNLV...posted two tackles at Utah...recorded two solo tackles against No. 17 UCLA...made two tackles, one for loss, and forced a fumble at Arizona State...made one tackle and broke up one pass in Apple Cup victory over Washington.
FRESHMAN (2011): Redshirt season...named WSU's Scout Team Defensive Player of the Year...earned a team-best five Cougars Scout Team Defensive Player of the Week honors.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER Two-sport athlete...played basketball at 2A high school...played football as a starting outside linebacker, quarterback, and punter under head coach Jon Randall...was the starting QB all four years on the varsity team...SOPHOMORE year received an all-league honorable mention pick...JUNIOR year named first-team all-league on defense...passed for approximately 1,500 yards and rushed for another 700...SENIORyear selected to participate in 2010 U.S. Army National Combine...named South Puget Sound League Most Valuable Player and led the league in total yardage...named All-SPSL 2A punter and state's top punter after averaging 47.1 yards per punt...also named to the Tacoma News Tribune's All-State football team as a punter.
PERSONAL Ionatana Pritchard...parents David and Kelli...father played on WSU's 1981 Holiday Bowl team...uncle is legendary WSU QB Jack Thompson...brother, Tavita, is former Stanford QB.
