MARTIN'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER

Prepped at Puyallup High for coach Jeff Gardner...played wide receiver and defensive back...also played basketball and competed in track...SOPHOMORE season earned All-Area honorable mention...received the coach's award in track...during JUNIOR campaign earned first team all-league and second team All-Area honors...was a State qualifier in the 200m and 100m in track...SENIOR year picked to Washington Prep Football Report 4A All-State second team and the Tacoma News Tribune's All-Aarea first team at wide receiver...an honorable mention Northwest Nugget by the TNT...finished with 39 receptions and averaged over 20 yards per catch while hauling in 13 touchdown passes...also named by the TNT to their South Puget Sound League first team at wide receiver for the south division...first team all-league and All-Area...honorable mention all-state...team MVP...participated in the East vs. West game at wide receiver... named a Red Chip Tier I recruit by the Seattle Times...also selected to the Super Prep Far West team...captained the track team.

FRESHMAN (2001-02): Redshirt season.

RS-FRESHMAN (2002-03): V-letter...Games - 13...Starts - 0...limited receiver action and some special team duty with punt return unit...single receptions against Idaho and Stanford.

RS-SOPHOMORE (2003-04): V-letter...Games - 9...Starts - 0...saw action in all but the Notre Dame, Oregon State, ASU and Washington games...caught two passes at USC and one against Arizona...backup holder for PATs and field goals. Special Teams: Punt returns

RS-JUNIOR (2004-05): V-letter...Games - 10...Starts - 4...earned the following weekly team awards: None. Special Teams: None...had two punt returns but didn't catch a pass in the opener at New Mexico...caught three passes in each of the next three games...caught his first-ever TD pass against Idaho with a 13-yard toss from Josh Swogger...suffered a right shoulder AC sprain at Arizona and missed the Oregon contest...returned against Stanford but didn't have a catch...at Oregon State made two receptions, one for 25 yards...also had two receptions at Arizona State.
