LESUMA'S WSU CAREER
SENIOR (2008):
Earned a varsity letter after appearing in 11 of WSU's 13 games...started 10 games at left tackle, and started at left guard against Portland State (Sept. 20)...recorded one tackle in the 16-13 victory over Washington.

JUNIOR (2007): Transferred to WSU in January, 2007...not able to participate in contact drills during the spring after undergoing wrist surgery after arrival at WSU...earned a varsity letter after starting each of the Cougars' 12 games at left tackle...earned the team's weekly Offensive Line Award following performance against Stanford... member of an offensive line that helped team finish second in the conference and 28th in the country in total offense (435.25 yards per game)...helped WSU passing attack lead the Pac-10 and finish eighth in the nation at 319.58 passing yards per game...WSU finished third in the conference in sacks allowed (1.83 per game).

LESUMA'S MT. SAN JACINTO COLLEGE CAREER
SOPHOMORE (2006):
Team finished the season 7-3...earned first-team All-Foothill Conference honors and second-team Junior College Grid-Wire All-America honors.

FRESHMAN (2005): Coached by Ed Carberry, team posted an 8-3 record...fell to Saddleback in season-ending Beach Bowl.

LESUMA'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Attended high school in Fiji where he was a member of the rugby team for four years...also played basketball for four years, with team winning the high school national title during senior season.

PERSONAL
Vaughn Timilai Lesuma...born in Fiji...parents Meli and Irene Lesuma...one of four children: sisters Jannifer and Alayna...brother Reed is also a member of the Cougar football team...represented Fiji in men's basketball for under 21 and men's division at national tournaments...member of Oceania basketball team at Youth Olympics in Australia, 2000...served two-year church mission in Anaheim, Calif. (2002-04)...plans to major in social science with an emphasis in communication.
