JUNIOR (2010):
Earned varsity letter after starting all 12 games...earned All-Pacific-10 Conference honorable mention accolades...named to Phil Steele's All-Pacific-10 Conference third team...posted team-highs of 62 catches and seven touchdowns...was second on the team with 658 receiving yards...had three catches including a 19-yard touchdown against Montana State...made five catches for 43 yards and a touchdown at SMU...named Cougar Offensive Player of the Week after making eight catches for 87 yards and two touchdowns against USC...earned Cougar Offensive Player of the Week honors after setting career highs of 10 catches and 106 yards against Oregon...made nine catches for 101 yards and two touchdowns at Stanford...had eight catches for 71 yards and a touchdown against Washington.
SOPHOMORE (2009): Named honorable mention All-Pacific-10 Conference...earned a varsity letter after starting each of WSU's 12 games...led WSU in receptions (38), yards (540) and touchdowns (six)...caught a pass in every game, including nine multiple-reception games, and ended the season with a streak of 15-straight games with a catch...averaged 14.2 yards per catch...had a season-high six catches against both California and Oregon State...had a season-high 91 yards in WSU's season opener against Stanford, eclipsing his total from his entire freshman season...had two receptions against Notre Dame, both of which went for touchdowns...season-long 64-yard reception against Arizona also went for a score...had five tackles on the season (four solo)... named second-team Pacific-10 Conference All-Academic.
FRESHMAN (2008): Earned varsity letter after playing in all 13 games during the season, three in a starting role...posted season totals of six receptions for 90 yards...biggest catch on season came against Washington in Apple Cup...hauled in 48-yard reception from Kevin Lopina in final minute of regulation, setting up game-tying field goal...finished game with two catches for 55 yards, both season highs...received WSU "Big Play" Award following the game...earned first collegiate start in opener against Oklahoma State...first career catch came against Oregon, an eight-yard reception...also earned starts against UCLA and Oregon State...member of WSU special teams, collecting four tackles (three solo)...one of three true freshmen to play in all 13 games.
KARSTETTER'S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Hauled in 71 passes for 1,002 yards and 12 touchdowns as a JUNIOR for head coach Jim Sharkey...campaign brought about All-Greater Spokane League and Associated Press All-State honors...named WIAA/Seattle Times State Athlete of the Week following a 174-yard, two touchdown effort...as a SENIOR caught 61 passes for 758 yards and 12 touchdowns, once again being named to the AP All-State team as well as the WashingtonPreps.com All-State team...named a Seattle Times Red Chip prospect...ranked in Scout.com's Washington Top 50 (No. 22)...member of Scout.com Northwest Hot 100 (No. 57)...member of the Scout.com West Top 150 (No. 138)...also a top-level basketball talent, earning three letters and serving as team captain...helped lead the Saxons to the State championship in 2007...named All-GSL honorable mention as a sophomore and earned GSL MVP honors and all-state accolades on the hardwood as a junior...also lettered three times as a sprinter on the track team.
