Media Day Quotes Get Acrobat Reader | Pac-12 leading scorer Motum back at Washington State

SAN FRANCISCO - Washington State University basketball head coach Ken Bone and senior forward Brock Motumparticipated in Pac-12 Media Day held at the Pac-12 Networks studios in San Francisco.

The day started with a head coaches' meeting for Bone, followed by officiating sessions for both the coaches and student-athletes. Following the rules run-through, Bone and Motum both participated in individual one-on-one interviews with national and local TV and radio networks. They both appeared on up on the stage in the opposite wing of the Networks studios during mid-morning. The day concluded with lunch and more one-on-one interviews with writers from throughout the country.

Earlier in the day the 2012-13 preseason media poll was released, as Arizona was picked to finish first in the conference with 403 points, according to a poll of media members who cover Pac-12 men's basketball. Washington State was selected to finish 10th for the second-straight year, tallying 163 votes, three behind USC in ninth with 166. The Wildcats just edged out the Bruins of UCLA, who earned 402 points. They were followed by California (third, 325), Stanford (fourth, 296), Washington (fifth, 278), Colorado (sixth, 262), Oregon (seventh, 217) and Oregon State (eighth, 166). Arizona State (11th, 107) and Utah (12th, 78) were picked to finish behind WSU.
