2010-11 Men's Basketball Schedule

PULLMAN, Wash. - Washington State University men's basketball can be seen on national television a minimum of nine times this season, Pacific-10 Conference commissioner Larry Scott announced Tuesday along with the Pac-10 men's basketball television schedule.

Second-year head coach Ken Bone and the Cougars make their season national television debut on FSN Dec. 3 against Kansas State in Pullman as part of the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series. Washington State hosts one more nonconference TV game when Gonzaga heads to Beasley Coliseum Dec. 8. That game will also be on FSN.

At least four of the Cougars' Pacific-10 Conference games will be nationally televised. Road games against UCLA (Dec. 29), Arizona (Feb. 17) and Washington (Feb. 27) can all be seen on FSN, as well as the matchup against the Huskies (Jan. 30) in Pullman.

The Cougars may have the chance to play in the national spotlight two more times when the Southern California schools make the trip to Pullman. The March 3 contest against USC is scheduled as a wildcard game and has the chance to be picked up by ESPN, ESPN2 or FSN, while FSN or CBS has the option to air the March 5 game against UCLA.

WSU will be seen on the ESPN family of networks at least twice during the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu in December. The Cougars' first round matchup against Mississippi State (Dec. 22) will be shown on ESPNU, as will their second game against either Baylor or San Diego (Dec. 23). Both the third-place and championship games will be televised on ESPN2 on Christmas Day.

The first eight games of the Pac-10 Men's Basketball Tournament, which takes place at Staples Center March 9-12, will be shown on FSN, while the championship game will air on CBS.

The Cougars will have the opportunity to appear in additional televised games. The games will be added through institutional telecasts, which will be announced at a later date.
