PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Forward Shami Gill scored 17 points Tuesday night to lead Washington State to a 73-61 victory over Montana.

Ezenwa Ukeagu and Chris Schlatter each added 13 points for the Cougars (3-3), who snapped a three-game losing streak.

David Bell and Ryan Pederson led Montana (2-6) with 11 points each.

WSU outrebounded Montana 46-29 and went 17-for-21 at the free-throw line, compared with Montana's 1-for-7 shooting at the line. The Cougars led virtually all the way, twice pushing their lead to 17 midway through the second half.

Washington State point guard Marcus Moore, who has been averaging 25.6 points per game, went 1-for-9 from the field and scored nine points. He was coming off a career-high 42-point game against Gonzaga. Moore also had six of WSU's 21 turnovers, despite playing just six minutes in the first half due to foul trouble.

WSU's Milton Riley blocked five shots.
