PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) - Marcus Moore, playing his first game in five weeks, scored 23 points Saturday to lead Washington State to a 98-76 victory over Washington.

Moore, who underwent ankle surgery Jan. 24, went 7-for-14 from the field, 3-for-6 on 3-pointers and 6-for-7 at the free-throw line.

Randy Green added 15 points and Jerry McNair scored 14 for the Cougars (7-18, 2-14 Pac-10), who won consecutive Pacific-10 Conference games for the first time since beating Oregon and Oregon State in February 2002.

Washington's Brandon Roy led with 17 points and seven rebounds. Roy scored 15 points in the second half, the most points against Washington (9-16, 4-12) in a half this season.

The Cougars outshot Washington 65-36 percent in the first half and 55-44 percent for the game. They also hit 52 percent of their 3-pointers and 80 percent of their free throws, compared to 25 and 57 percent, respectively.

WSU's Chris Schlatter and Thomas Kelati both added 11 points. Washington's Nate Robinson had 15 points while Will Conroy and Mike Jensen both added 13. Doug Wrenn had nine points before picking up a technical foul and fouling out with 8:25 to go.

The Cougars were never seriously threatened after an 11-1 spurt gave them a 15-7 lead. Two 3-pointers by Jensen fueled a 10-0 run that narrowed WSU's lead to 54-44 early in the second half, but the Huskies never drew closer.
