Earned three letters apiece in basketball and track and field at Marshall High School in Missouri City, Texas, before competing at Air Force Academy Prep School in Colorado...as a FRESHMAN led junior varsity squad to the district championship in the school's inaugural year...during his JUNIOR season varsity squad reached regional championship and placed first in the district...served as the Buffs' team co-captain as a SENIOR...earned first team all-district and all-conference honors...averaged 14 points, four rebounds and three assists per game...played in the Greater Houston Area Basketball Coaches' Association (GHABCA) All-Star game.
