Started nine of 33 games played...missed two games with a knee injury...was second on the team and 16th in the Pac-10 with 12.7 points per game...started the first six games of the season, beginning his WSU career with 18 points against Southern (Nov. 13)...followed with 26 points against Idaho (Nov. 23), connecting on 4-for-8 from beyond the 3-point arc...scored a career-high 28 points at Fresno State (Nov. 26), making career-high 11 field goals and six 3-pointers...grabbed a career-high seven rebounds and added 20 points apiece in games against Texas-Pan American (Dec. 10) and Mississippi State at the Diamond Head Classic (Dec. 22)....scored 19 points in his Pac-10 debut at UCLA (Dec. 29), on 9-for-13 shooting from the field...tied his career-high and set a Pac-10 high with seven rebounds at Oregon State (Feb. 5), added 10 points...tied Pac-10 high with 20 points in win over USC (March 3), beginning a streak of four-straight double-figure games...scored 14 points in a career-high 42 minutes in just second Pac-10 start of career against UCLA (March 5)...scored 19 points in NIT First Round matchup with Long Beach State (March 16).
JUNIOR COLLEGE
Played two years at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Fla. Under head coach Derrick Worrels...averaged 20.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.1 steals per game as a FRESHMAN...named first-team All-State and first-team All-SunCoast Conference...entered SOPHOMORE season as a preseason second-team All-American...helped lead team to SunCoast Conference Championship...averaged 23.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.0 steals per game...earned first-team all-conference honors.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played two years at Bowie High School under head coach Allen Gratts before transferring to God's Academy where he played two years under head coach Tim Miller.
PERSONAL Born Faisal Jama Aden, in January of 1989 in Somalia...moved to San Diego as a child... father Dubow Aden and mother Mako Isack...has three sisters and five brothers...undecided on major at Washington State.
