Alex Burg was 0-for-3 as the catcher for the Corvallis Knights against the Wenatchee AppleSox in game two of the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League Championship Series. The Knights won 4-1 to secure the league title and end the summer for Washington State baseball student-athletes.

Alex Burg was 0-for-6 at the starting catcher for the Corvallis Knights in a 6-4, 11-inning win at the Wenatchee AppleSox during the first game of the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League Championship Series...Cam Christian started in left field and was 4-for-5 with two doubles and four runs for the Okotoks (Calgary, Alberta) Dawgs at the Swift Current (Saskatchewan) Indians in game four of the Western Major Baseball League Championship...Matt Hart started at third base for the Dawgs and was 0-for-4, but the Dawgs captured the league title with an 11-7 victory.
AUGUST 15
Cam Christian started in left field and was 1-for-4 with a run for the Okotoks (Calgary, Alberta) Dawgs against the Swift Current (Saskatchewan) Indians in game three of the Western Major Baseball League Championship. The Dawgs won 5-2 to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series.
AUGUST 14
Alex Burg was 0-for-4 as the catcher for the Corvallis Knights and Tommy Richards was 1-for-3 with a RBI as the first baseman for the Bend (Ore.) Elks in game three of the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League Western Divisional Series. The Knights won 4-3 in Corvallis to advance to the league championship series...Cam Christian started in left field and was 1-for-3 with a double for the Okotoks (Calgary, Alberta) Dawgs at the Swift Current (Saskatchewan) Indians in a 1-0 victory to even the best-of-five Western Major Baseball League Championship at a game each.
