Jeremy Johnson Named to Watch List

LUBBOCK, Texas. - Washington State University redshirt-junior Jeremy Johnson has been named to The College Baseball Foundation Pitcher of the Year Award Watch List.

A right-hander from Centralia, Johnson is 4-1 with six saves and a 3.18 earned run average in 39 and two-thirds innings. He has 42 strikeouts and has given up 35 hits and seven walks.

Johnson's save total ranks in a tie for sixth on Washington State's single-season list. He leads the Cougars with 18 appearances this season.

The winner of the award will be announced in Lubbock, July 2.
