Cougars Open Road Stretch at Gonzaga

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State University baseball team travels to Spokane for a nonconference meeting with the Gonzaga, Tuesday, April 17. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. It is the first of five-straight road games for the Cougars (18-14). Washington State travels to Eugene, Ore., for a three-game Pac-12 series against Oregon, Friday-Sunday and wraps up that trip with a game against Seattle in Everett. The meeting is the second of three this season between the Cougars and Bulldogs (25-9) and is part of Spokane Week for Washington State. Gonzaga won 9-3 in Spokane, April 3. A pair of right-handers will take the mound, Tuesday as Kyle Swannack (3-3) goes for Washington State opposite Gonzaga's Kenny Smith (2-0). The game can be heard on NewsTalk 1150 AM in Pullman and 105.3 FM in Moscow. A live feed (fee applies) can also be heard on WSUCougars.com. SWX will televise the game.
