Cougar outfielder honored by Baseball America.

DURHAM, N.C. - Washington State junior outfielder Jason Monda was named to the Baseball America Preseason All-America Third Team, Thursday.

A native of Olympia, Wash., Monda is a two-year starter for the Cougars. The outfielder collected 53 hits and batted .275 in 2012, both tops among WSU returners. He spent the last-two summers playing for Brewster in the prestigious Cape Cod League.
