TUCSON, Ariz. - Brad Glenn's two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth lifted No. 22 Arizona to a 6-5 victory over Washington State in a Pacific-10 Conference game at Jerry Kindall Field.

Glenn's game-winner came with one out in the inning off Seth Harvey (0-1). After Harvey recorded the final two outs in the eighth inning and struck out Diallo Fon to open the ninth, he walked C.J. Ziegler. The right-hander fell behind 3-1 to Glenn, fired a strike to run the count full, and then watched as the Arizona (24-11, 5-6 Pac-10) third baseman belted the next pitch over the 400-foot sign in center field. Glenn's heroics made a winner out of Ryan Perry (4-2) who registered the final out in the top of the ninth.

The Cougars (19-17, 3-8 Pac-10) took a 5-4 in the top of ninth on a single by Greg Lagreid, sacrifice bunt by Scott Suttmeier, a single by Shea Vucinich and RBI-fielder's choice by Travis Coulter.

Washington State jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first on Jim Murphy's 10th home run of the season. It came with Paul Gran aboard after the Cougar third baseman doubled.

Arizona picked up a run in the second on a safety squeeze bunt single by Bryce Ortega and assumed a 3-2 lead when Ortega singled home two runs in the fifth.

Alex Burg tied the game 3-3 with a RBI-double in the sixth and Coulter's run-scoring single in the seventh put Washington State on top 4-3. Arizona tied the game in the bottom of the seventh on a RBI-triple by T.J. Steele.
