JUNIOR: Led the GSL in batting...played in the Area Code Games...hit .547 (29-for-53) with 12 doubles and two home runs. SENIOR (2002-03): Posted the lowest ERA in the Greater Spokane League and was the batting champion...named to the all-league team for the fourth straight season...earned league MVP honors after hitting .609 (28-for-46) with eight doubles and 14 RBI...on the mound he was 6-2 with a 0.67 ERA...played two summers for the Spokane Heat.
FRESHMAN (2003-04): Went 0-0 with a 5.68 ERA in nine appearances as a freshman...gave up only two hits and one run in his last three innings of the season (two outings against Stanford and New Mexico)...threw a scoreless inning in regular season finale at No. 2 Stanford (May 30)...recorded four strikeouts in two innings at New Mexico (May 18)...struck out a batter in his first outing as a Sun Devil against Utah (Feb. 14)...came in and got a key out against nationally ranked Tulane (March 14) to preserve a 5-1 victory...threw a scoreless inning against Oklahoma State (March 17).
SOPHOMORE (2004-05): V-letter...Games - 23...Starts - 3...IP - 37.2...ERA - 9.08...Record - 0-5...his three starts came in first four appearances of season...had season-high six strikeouts in five innings in second game of doubleheader against Portland (2/19)...had five straight appearances when he did not allow a run (4/5-19), working 5.2 scoreless innings...allowed two or fewer hits in 17 of his outings...pitching totals against Pac-10 opponents: Arizona 3.0i/0-0/0.00, ASU 0.0i/0-0/99.99, California dnp, OSU 3.0i/0-2), 9.00, Stanford 4.1i/0-1/10.39, UCLA 0.1i/0-0/0.00, USC 3.2i/0-0/14.71, Washington 0.2i/0-0/26.87...monthly pitching totals: February 8.1i/0-1/11.88, March 7.1i/0-1/7.37, April 14.2i/0-3/6.75, May 7.1i/0-0/12.28.
Travis S. Webb...born Aug. 2, 1984 at Spokane, Wash...parents Stan and Jami Webb...two younger sisters, Tana and Christina...father Stan, grandfather Ron and uncle Steve all played baseball for the Cougars...uncle Craig Ehlo played basketball for the Cougars and went on to play 14 seasons in the NBA...enjoys fishing and bird hunting...major is undecided.
