GENERAL: Montana does not sponsor high school baseball so competed three years in the American Legion program… earned two letters in wrestling... JUNIOR: Captained the American Legion team and was named MVP… JV wrestler of the year… SENIOR: Captain of both wrestling and American Legion teams… hit .341 with seven home runs and 65 RBI in baseball.

SULLIVAN’S REEDLY (CA) COLLEGE CAREER

SOPHOMORE (1998-99): Lettered for the second year for head coach Jack Hacer as a catcher at Reedly College (near Fresno, Calif.)… hit .358 at the plate earning second-team, all-conference honors… during sumer ball was a two-time defensive MVP for the Kalispell Lakers semi-pro team.
