HENSELMAN`S HIGH SCHOOL CAREER

GENERAL: Earned four varsity letters, two in golf and two for baseball coach Eric Fiedler...captained both teams. JUNIOR: Pitched and played first base, hitting .405...posted a 2.97 ERA and allowed just two home runs...received South Puget Sound League first team honors as a designated hitter with a .643 slugging percentage...also an all-area pitcher...received the FWHS Golden Arm Award...team finished 14-2 in league, won the league title and finished second in the state. SENIOR (2003-04): Played in the outfield, at first and pitched...hit .483 with five home runs and 23 RBI...hit one triple, scored 24 runs and collected 29 hits for 57 total bases and a .950 slugging percentage...on the mound was 3-1 with 31.2 innings...struck out 42 and posted a 2.43 ERA...won the Big Stick Award...All-SPSL first team pick as an outfielder...Tacoma News Tribune all-area first team outfielder...team was 15-3 in league, won the SPSL title and finished sixth in the state...received Baseball Northwest Top 50 recognition.
