COUGAR WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TEAM RACING IN MISSOULA
The Washington State University women's cross country team and one WSU male harrier will compete at the Montana Invitational race Saturday, October 2, at the University of Montana Golf Course in Missoula...other teams entered in the meet inclucde Montana State, Eastern Washington, Idaho State, Gonzaga, Carroll, College of Idaho, Montana State-Billings, Rocky Mountain, Great Falls and Flathead CC...results will be posted on the official WSU Athletic website, wsucougars.com, when available.
ABOUT THE COURSE
The University of Montana Golf Course is grass and compact dirt, with one hill...while the temperature is expected to rise to 77 degrees during the day, the expected overnight low of 46 degrees will mean cool mornings and heavy dew.
JULIAN LEADING THE WAY
Second-year Cougar coach Pete Julian came to Washington State in August 2009 after a highly successful coaching stint at Metro State in Denver...the 2010 incoming freshman class is his first fully-recruited class at WSU and one he claims is the most talented in the last two decades...volunteer assistant coach Tim Riley returns for his second season.
