Played two sports and earned seven varsity letters at Decatur High...four in cross country under coaches Heather Krier, Russ Anderson and Teri Galloway...three in track under coach Sam Beasley...member of Federal Way Track Club under coach Darryl Genest....placed third in 2000m steeplechase at 2004 Junior Olympics...qualified for state championship in cross country all four years...as a freshman earned first team All-South Puget Sound League...most valuable on team...rookie of the year award...sophomore year voted most valuable player...placed fifth in state in 4x200m relay...as a junior placed sixth in state in 4x200m relay...qualified in 800m...senior year earned first team All-South Puget Sound League...qualified for state championship in 800m...most inspirational award.
