Earned 12 letters at Carson High...four for cross country coach Pete Sinnott...eight for track coach Robert Maw...won 2009 state 4A individual cross country title and Senators won team senior year...4A regional champion...finished 28th at Footlocker West qualifier...four-time all-region first team in cross country...three-time first team all-state cross country, once second team...other individual state finishes include third as freshman, second as sophomore and junior...on the track, two-time 4A state champion in 3200m, senior season added state 1600m title...numerous all-region selections in 3200m and 1600m...set school record for 1600m of 4:18.80.

Born in November 1992 in Carson City, Nev...father Keith Shroy is a marketing manager...mother Jeanne Stelzer is a cross country and track coach...older brother Chad runs cross country at the United States Naval Academy...graduated with a 4.14 grade point average...member of National Honor Society...CAP Cadet Commanding and Executive Office of Douglas County Composite Squadron...earned three academic letters...Cadet Physical Fitness office of NJROTC unit...Platoon Commander for NJROTC unit...member of Tahoe Mountains Milers and Sagebrush Stompers...attending WSU on an ROTC scholarship...majoring in movement studies.
