REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2011-12): Cross Country - Finished eighth overall and fifth on WSU team at Inland Northwest Classic...took 66th overall, sixth on team at Pac-12 Championships...placed 65th overall, seventh on team at NCAA West Regional meet with 10k time of 30:47...competed on WSU's seven-man team at NCAA Championships, placing 232nd...Indoor - Ran PR time in mile of 4:11.40i at Vandal Collegiate (2/18/12, Moscow)...tallied PR time in 3000m at Husky Classic of 8:24.71i (2/10/12, Seattle)...Outdoor - Ran 1500m PR time of 3:47.54 at Stanford Invite (4/6/12)...also PR time in 800m of 2:01.97 at WSU-UW Dual (4/28/12, Pullman)...at the Pac-12 Championships ran 1500m prelims in 3:47.56 (11th) and finished 12th in final (3:56.93).

FRESHMAN (2011): Enrolled at WSU in January 2011...Indoor - Redshirt season...Outdoor - Redshirt season...competed unattached at Cougar Invite running 1500m in 4:00.24.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned eight letters in his tenure at Ferndale High School...four in track and field and four in cross country...served as team captain for both teams as a senior...set the school record for the mile and two mile at Ferndale in his senior year...was district champion in both the mile and two mile as a senior.

PERSONAL: Born in May 1992 in Bellingham, Wash...father Gaylen is a plumber...mother Wilma works as the AVP for Whidbey Island Bank...older brothers Austin and Nick...father ran cross country and track for Central Washington University...was a member of the Human Relations Council in high school...enjoys playing games...is undecided on area of academic pursuit at WSU.
