HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in cross country, track and field, and baseball in high school...cross country and track team captain...named first team All-Greater Spokane League sophomore, junior, and senior years...district champion as a sophomore in the mile for track...2007 GSL distance runner of the year...holds Central Valley High records in the 1,600m, 3,200m, and 4 x 400m relay...finished second at state championships for track in the 3,200m senior year.
