Cougars preparing for prestigious Notre Dame Invite next Friday.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned eight varsity letters at Heritage High...four letters for cross country coach Jenny Teppo...four letters for track coach Russ Weaver...freshman school record for cross country 5k in time of 20:21...freshman year named most improved in cross county...three-time No. 1 varsity cross country runner on team...junior and senior years named cross country team captain...three-time All-Greater St. Helen's League cross country selection...junior year set school record for fastest girls time at state 4A cross country championship (20:04)...senior year school record for fastest cross country 5k in time of 19:22...on the track, set sophomore school record for 3000m in track in a time of 11:21...senior year track captain...ran school records for 3000m (10:47.90) and 3200m (11:38.40)...four-time recipient of academic award for cross country and track.

PERSONAL. Born in May 1994 in Portland, Ore...parents Chuck and Brenda are educators...younger sister Carly...graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and ranked fourth in class...voted Homecoming queen...planning to major in kinesiology to pursue a career in physical therapy.
