Hey Cougs this is your Captain Jon. This weekend went great, our men's team won the meet which was bomb.com and we had a lot of great marks put out there. The sun was shining and man you should see everyone's bodies and faces!!! Can you say sun block?? Haha. Mt. SAC is always a fun meet to compete at especially when you're going in the invite sections. There are some of the best athletes in the world at this meet, not just in college. Being able to see and compete alongside them is a blast!!!

My weekend went great. I had a PR throw of 232' 1" on my fifth throw!! But I had one on my first throw that I am pretty sure was a few feet further but that I scratched!!! That one ticked me off a bit. Oh and my dad tried coaching me at the meet, haha. He is such a goofball. He wants to be a coach so bad!! This time though he was actually right in what he was saying, but don't tell him that or I will never hear the end of it! Our women's distance team did great and my other javelin sidekick, Marissa, threw a great throw out there at 161', so awesome job to them. Coming up this weekend is our invite meet, the first time at home which is nice but I hope this nasty weather will turn around soon. It is exhausting enough just practicing in it let alone competing. I hope to see a few people at the meet this weekend!!!!
