Hi Cougar Track and Field fans -

One thing I love most about being a part of this team is that each person on the team has a really unique personality. We can all come together and have good time and get along. People on this team make me laugh all the time because they are so different.

When we travel that's when you really get to know each other and the different personalities. Coach Sloan is probably one of the biggest jokesters on the team. One trip he brought his fake teeth with him the ones that are really crooked looking. We were all getting on the plane and he puts them in just before we board. As we were boarding everyone was staring at him and talking about him as if they were his real teeth. Our whole team was laughing so hard. He started talking in a country accent and he was telling the flight attendants that he needed some snacks. When the flight attendant was talking to him you could see that she was holding back her laughter to avoid laughing in his face. It was really funny because everyone but our team thought they were real and were making fun of him. We just laughed the whole time. This just shows the kind of sense of humor our team has.
