COUGAR INVITATIONAL MEET APRIL 21, Mt. SAC
The 12th Annual Cougar Invitational outdoor track and field meet is set for Saturday, April 21, at the Mooberry Track Complex...field events begin at 10 a.m. and running events are set to start at 1:15 p.m...admission is free and concessions are available...free parking is available at the Beasley Coliseum Yellow 1 lot...meet features collegiate competitors from around the Northwest...entry standards and meet schedule are posted on the WSU website, www.wsucougars.com...entries are only through Direct Athletics...results will be posted online at the completion of the meet...a group of Cougars will also be competing at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif., April 19-21.

ABOUT THE COUGAR COACHES
Head coach Rick Sloan is in his 39th season with the Cougar track program; 18th year as a head coach, 17th year as mentor to the combined men's and women's program...Sloan (decathlon/heptathlon) is joined by associate coach Debra Farwell (throws), head coach for cross country Pete Julian (distance), and assistant coaches Mark Macdonald (hurdles/relays), Ellannee Richardson (sprints/relays) and Matt McGee (jumps)...volunteer coaches include Jeshua Anderson, Tim Riley and Wes McCann.

NCAA DESCENDING ORDER LISTS
The NCAA has automatic qualifying standards for Indoor competition that can be found on the 2012 Outdoor Bests Lists posted on the WSU website (www.wsucougars.com)...national descending order lists can be viewed at the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Track & Field Results Reporting System website (www.tfrrs.org).
