Jeshua Anderson Named Pac-10 Track Athlete of the Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Washington State University's Jeshua Anderson was named the Pacific-10 Conference men's outdoor track athlete of the week for accomplishments during April 6-12. This is the second consecutive week Anderson has been honored by the conference this season, and the third time in two years. The information about Anderson from the Pac-10 release is below:

Men's Track Athlete of the Week: Jeshua Anderson, WASHINGTON STATE (So., Woodland Hills, Calif.). Anderson earns the Pac-10 Men's Track Athlete of the Week honor for the second consecutive week, honored for winning the 400m hurdles invitational race at the UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational meet in an improved NCAA Regional Qualifying and nation-leading time of 49.44 seconds. He also improved his NCAA RQ time in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.20, and ran the lead leg of the 4x400m relay in a time of 3:13.40 for fifth place.
