The Washington State University track and field teams travel to Los Angeles for the second consecutive weekend...this weekend's competition is a double dual meet with UCLA and Tennessee Saturday, March 31, at Drake Stadium on the UCLA campus...scoring for the meet is 5-3-1 for individual events and 5-0 or relays...first event of the day is the women's hammer throw at 10 a.m...first running event of the day is the women's 4x100m relay at 2:04 p.m...final event of day is men's 4x400m relay at 5:15 p.m...Live Results will be available - go to www.uclabruins.com for the link when available...results will be posted at www.wsucougars.com post meet.
ABOUT THE COUGAR COACHES
Head coach Rick Sloan is in his 39th season with the Cougar track program; 18th year as a head coach, 17th year as mentor to the combined men's and women's program...Sloan (decathlon/heptathlon) is joined by associate coach Debra Farwell (throws), head coach for cross country Pete Julian (distance), and assistant coaches Mark Macdonald (hurdles/relays), Ellannee Richardson (sprints/relays) and Matt McGee (jumps)...volunteer coaches include Jeshua Anderson, Tim Riley and Wes McCann.
