TRACK & FIELD COMPETES IN ALBUQUERQUE AND SEATTLE
Washington State University's indoor track and field teams will compete at three different meets in two locations this weekend...Fri., Feb. 8, at the University of New Mexico Don Kirby Collegiate Elite Invitational in Albuquerque...events begin at 2 p.m. MT and conclude at 10 p.m...Sat., Feb. 9 at the Don Kirby Open in Albuquerque, events begin 11 a.m. MT and conclude at 3:45 p.m...both meets are contested at the Albuquerque Convention Center on a 200 meter, 60-degree banked Mondo track with 8 straightaway lanes and 6 oval lanes...Cougars will also compete at the Husky Classic Meet Feb. 8 & 9 at the Dempsey Indoor on the Univ. of Washington campus...the DMRs, 5ks, 200s, Weight Throws, and pole vault B section are contested Friday evening beginning at 4 p.m...Saturday's event are from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m...complete results will be posted at www.wsucougars.com, when available.
ABOUT THE COUGAR COACHES
Head coach Rick Sloan is in his 40th season with the Cougar track program; 19th year as a head coach, 18th year as mentor to the combined men's and women's program...Sloan (decathlon/heptathlon) is joined by associate coach Debra Farwell (throws) and assistant coaches Mark Macdonald (hurdles/relays), Ellannee Richardson (sprints/relays), Matt McGee (jumps) and cross country coach Tim Riley (distance)...volunteers include Jeshua Anderson, Chanel James and Courtney Simmons.
NCAA DESCENDING ORDER LISTS
The NCAA abondoned the qualifying standards for the 2013 indoor competition...national descending order lists can be viewed at the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Track & Field Results Reporting System website (www.tfrrs.org)...race marks are converted to accommodate for track sizes and surfaces...best marks for the Cougars for the 2013 indoor season can be found at www.wsucougars.com.

Jacob Sealby, 400m - 47.54# (49th)
Stephan Scott-Ellis, long jump - 7.39m/24-3 (28th)
Stephan Scott-Ellis, triple jump - 15.58m/51-1 1/2 (18th)
Spencer Wordell, heptathlon - 5167 points (42nd)
