SOPHOMORE (2011-12): Cross Country - Finished 27th overall at Erik Anderson Invitational...finished sixth on team and 124th overall at prestigious Notre Dame Invitational where Cougar men placed fifth in team standings...was ill and did not compete at Pac-12 Championships...alternate for Cougars at NCAA Championships.

FRESHMAN (2010-11): Cross Country - Ninth at the WSU-UW Dual (Ephrata) in time of 18:52.82...25th in 8k at Montana Invite in time of 26:25...27th at Inland NW Challenge (Cheney) in time of 25:41.6...68th overall (25:44.34) at Pac-10 Championships (10/30/10, Seattle)...Indoor - Redshirt season...Outdoor - Limited competition...ran 800m time of 1:53.54 at WSU-UW Dual meet (4/29/11, Seattle).

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned eight varsity letters at Redmond High...all for cross country and track coach Denis Villeneuve...Washington state 4A cross country champion in 2008...won KingCo League cross country title in 2009...finishing sixth at 4A state meet after suffering an injury...two-time district cross champion...finished fifth at the 2009 Nike BorderClash 11 meet (Oregon versus Washington)...on the track, placed eighth in 1600m at state championships as sophomore, and fifth as a senior...won league titles in 1600m and 3200m in 2010...named All-KingCo League three times in cross country and twice in track.

PERSONAL. Born in June 1992 in Bellevue, Wash...father Tony is a long officer who was a two-time All-American cross country and track runner at Cal State Los Angeles...still runs competitively and has Men's Masters 45-49 age group World Record in the 1500m and mile (4:16.09 in 2008)...mother Heather was a two-time All-American runner at Cal State Northridge...younger sister Andie...undecided on area of study.
