PRE-WSU CAREER. Compete one year at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas...freshman season ran a 200m PR time of 21.28 at Arkansas Spring Invite...at Texas Relays was member of sprint relay team that finished second in a time of 3:23.2...ran PR 100m time of 10.52 at Region VI championships meet.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. At Robbinsdale Cooper High (Minnesota) played football for coach John Biezuns and ran track for coach Brent McGrew...as junior broke school record in 200m with time of 21.56...at Minnesota State High School League championships finished fourth in 200m (22.55)...named all-conference in track...senior year at MSHSL state championships finished third in 200m (22.53) after running top time of 22.20 in prelims, and finished fourth in 100m with PR time of 11.10...repeated as all-conference selection.
