SOPHOMORE (2004-05): Cross Country - Competed in four meets for the Cougs...top result a 50th place finish at Sundodger Invitational (9/18/04, Seattle)...finished 76th in the Women's Open Race at NCAA Pre-Nationals (10/16/04, Terre Haute)...eighth WSU and 63rd overall finisher at the Pac-10 Championships (10/30/04, San Francisco)...earned Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention honors...Indoor - Redshirt season...Outdoor - Redshirt season.

FRESHMAN (2003-04): Cross Country - Scored in two meets for WSU this season...competed in four meets as a freshman...finished 12th at the Cougar Invite...finished 53rd at Pac-10 Championships (11/1/03, Pullman) as the fifth Cougar to finish...ran to 148th finish (sixth on team) at NCAA West Regional (11/15/03, Portland)...Indoor - Top time in 800m was 2:21.38i (2/21/04, Moscow)...ran mile in 5:10.24i (2/14/04, Seattle)...also took care of first leg of distance medley relay (12:03.30i) which took sixth place at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships (2/28/04, Seattle)...Outdoor - Established 1500m time of 4:41.53 at Stanford Invite (3/27/04).

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned eight letters at Bellevue High, three each in cross country and track for coach John Hill...also earned a letter each in soccer for coach Ian Sovde and in crew for coach Mary McIntyre...finished tenth in state cross country meet as senior...member of first place track team in state as senior...selected All-King County as junior and senior...finished third in state in 800m as senior...placed third in 800m and sixth in 1600m in state as junior.

Born Kathleen Troy 2/6/85 at Seattle, Wash...father Walter is an insurance agent...mother Candy is a manager...sisters, Emily Palmgren (4/15/71), Lindsey Cooke (7/18/73), and Mary (6/13/76)...Mary played soccer at Oregon State...volunteered four years at Group Health Hospital...interested in pursuing a degree in interior design.
