HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned eight varsity letters at Lindbergh High...all for cross country and track coach Jeff Rettmann...also played on select basketball and select baseball teams during high school...finished in top 25, team finished in top eight at state 3A cross country championships all four years...three-time all-state cross country team selection...team won Seamount League title four years...had seventh place and fifth place finishes at Nike Pre-national meets...advanced to state track championship in both 3200m and 1600m three consecutive years...senior year finished eighth in 3200m with PR time of 9:15...numerous all-league academic honors for both cross and track.

PERSONAL. Born in August 1990 in Renton...father Steve is a transportation supervisor...mother Debbie is a vice president of human resources at the Boeing Employees Credit Union...older sister Brea Thompson Stormer graduated from WSU in 2005...graduated with 3.8 grade point average...National Honor Society member...active in church youth groups...undecided on major area of study.
