HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned five letters at Peninsula High...four in track for coach Ben Levrence and one in water polo...sophomore year was selected all-league and team's most improved athlete...junior season all-league again and eighth place finish in javelin at state meet...team captain as a senior.

PERSONAL. Born 5/8/83 in California...father Jon Ortgiesen is an architect for Skate Parketecture, a skate board and rollerblade park design company...mother Barbara Graham is a graphic designer...history major at WSU.
