WSU CAREER. JUNIOR (2011-12): Indoor - Took third place in heptathlon at Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships with PR of 5,406 points (2/25/12, Seattle)...mark is second-best in WSU all-time records...Outdoor - Scored 6,051 points (10th) at UC Santa Barbara Sam Adams Combined Events Invitational without finishing the high hurdles due to an ankle injury...at Pac-12 Championships scored 6,230 points in decathlon for 16th.

PRE-WSU CAREER. Reached PR in heptathlon of 5,319 points at New Mexico Classic (2/5/11, Albuquerque)...won indoor heptathlon at NJCAA Indoor Championships at Glendale Community College for coach Ralph Neighbors...won decathlon at NJCAA Outdoor Championships with PR 6,968 points (5/20/11, Hutchinson, Kansas) after being runner-up the previous year...finished sixth in high jump at NJCAA outdoors.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned six varsity letters at Sunrise Mountain High School...two in basketball for coach Jason Pasinski...four in track and field for coach Jim Kenyou...team captain of both teams in 2009 season...member of two-time 5A state champion track team...state finishes of seventh and third (twice) in high jump...Desert West regional champion in high jump, with a second place finish in the 400 and third place finishes in triple jump and long jump...finished third in state in triple jump and second in long jump...had a third place finish in 300 hurdles at state...won state championship in the 4X400 relay...won meet of champions in long jump...placed fourth at Great Southwest meet in triple jump...ran for the Arizona Puma club for coach Ray Davis.

PERSONAL. Born in December 1990, in Peoria, Arizona...father Donald is a driver...mother Terri works as an accountant...younger brothers Tyler, Nick, and Jeremy...grandfather Richard played basketball at University of Detroit...enjoys long boarding, music, and playing basketball...was a member of student council for two years in high school...member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and college Younglife...majoring in general social science at WSU.
