REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2001-02): Outdoor - Top javelin mark of 65.70m/215-7 came in win at Idaho Dual (4/13/02, Pullman)…finished eighth in the javelin with mark of 61.17m/200-8 at Pac-10 Championships (5/19/02, Pullman)…ran 16.68 high hurdles at start of season at UCLA (3/16/02, Los Angeles).

FRESHMAN (1998-99 at Diablo Valley College): Competed in decathlon, javelin and triple jump for coach Chris Walsh…was team captain.

SOPHOMORE (1999-00 at College of Marin): Redshirted year…REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2000-01 at College of Marin): Competed for coach Terrence Burke…at the NorCal Championships won the javelin and placed fifth in the decathlon…javelin PR of 62.18m/204-0 was best among California Junior Colleges.

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Spent freshman year playing baseball at Kennedy High in Richmond, Calif…rest of prep career spent at Clayton Valley High in Concord, Calif…was a high and triple jumper for coach Jon Miller.

PERSONAL. Born Matthew Doziér McGee 9/27/79 at San Francisco…father David is a mechanic and crane operator…mother Tonya Doziér is a nurse and a student…brother Nicolas McGee (6/10/78) played baseball at Bethany College…grandfather Anthony Doziér played for the Indianapolis Clowns of the Negro Baseball League…plays the piano and writes music…played in the Bay Area and the Diablo Wind Symphonies while in high school…majoring in philosophy with a music composition minor at WSU.
