Track & Field at Stanford Invite and SCC WAR V Meets Saturday

WSU's next competition is the 12th Annual Cougar Invite April 21.

STATE CHAMPION

HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. Earned two varsity letters at Legacy High for basketball coach Tiffany Richardson...started track career at Arbor View High...as a sophomore won state 100m hurdles championship in 2009 in time of 14.79, and placed second in 300m hurdles (44.89)...prior to junior year moved to Legacy High and did not compete during the 2010 prep spring track season....ran for Vegas Valley Track Club in summer 2010 competed at USATF National Junior Olympics and ran 100m hurdles in a time of 14.66...at Legacy High School won the Nevada state 4A championships 300m hurdles title in a photo finish with a meet record time of 42.67...also won 100m hurdles in 14.35 and ran a come-from-behind anchor leg of the winning 4x100m relay in a time of 48.78...earlier that spring, won 300m hurdles at Mt. SAC Relays in 42.48, and was runner-up in high school 100m hurdles with PR time of 14.10...PR time in 300m hurdles is 42.46 and was run at Sunrise-Sunset Regional meet prior to the state championships.

PERSONAL. Born April 1993 in Las Vegas...father Tony McFarland...mother Stephanie Morris...undecided on area of study at WSU.
